Athletin Running Co. 

The Athletin Running Company is a company in Kansas that supports virtual races and hosts their own runs. Virtual running is a race that you can run at your own place, at your own time. You register online at a race website for a specific race, you wait until the date the race is set and between that date you must complete the distance of the race. You track your distance and time with a app or with a running device and take a picture or screenshot to submit to the race. The race usually has a email you submit results to. There will usually be a posted list after the dates of the race have passed and then these will be the winners. Distances usually include 5K, 10K and Half Marathon. Some runs also are for a marathon but not usually. Costs to register for a virtual run are varied between races and race websites. The average cost of a virtual run is between $20-25 dollars. This covers the shirt some races give, the medal you recieve for participation or placing, the processing fee for any registration fees and anything else. Usually virtual runs are for fundraising or for a cause that a race donates to such as charities.
